Mount Gambier Bowls Club is the oldest country club in South Australia, opened by Hon Geo Riddoch on Wednesday 30th November 1904.

Our club is a very progressive and open to everyone, regardless of ability and age. The facilities have full accessibility for all visitors and bowlers.

We boast great facilities with a comfortable bar along with a relaxing lounge area and large hall. Couple this together with one undercover bowling green and two outdoor bowling greens an undercover alfresco space with BBQ and a modern up to-date kitchen that offers delicious catering options for all events, it’s the place to be.

The Mount Gambier Bowls Club is the perfect place for all your bowling experiences, such as barefoot bowls, social bowls and competitive bowls.

Our pennant bowlers have had an extremely successful 2023/24 year winning Division 1 Saturday Pennant and for the 2024/25 pennant year, winning Division 1 on Wednesday Pennant and Division 2 on Saturday Pennant. Also we have had entrants in the Bowls SA Championship Mens and Women's Singles.

The Mount Gambier Bowls Club is the only Bowling Club in the South East of South Australia with a fully covered green, offering year round bowling for members and visitors. Also, our C green carpet was replaced in 2024.
